Nuisance Cats
Cats may be considered a nuisance if they continually wander on to neighbouring properties. Penalties apply to those cat owners who allow their cats to cause a nuisance to neighbours.
Tips for cat owners:
- Wandering cats are vulnerable to disease and attacks from other animals
- Confine your cat at night (around 80% of accidents involving cats occur at night)
Remember, cats are required to be registered with Council.
