Four year old kindergarten

The Maroondah Integrated Kindergarten Association (MIKA) maintains a central enrolment system and allocates places according to parents' preferences and locality basis.

20 community-based and one private kindergarten use the MIKA Central Enrolment System.

Application forms are available from the link below or from local Maternal and Child Health Centres, kindergartens, Council offices and Service Centres.

Applications should be made between February and 30 June during the year before the child is eligible to attend Kindergarten.

When enrolling your child, parents are asked to carefully consider the age of their child and whether he/she will be ready for the demands of kindergarten.

Three year old kindergarten

Many kindergartens offer programs for three year olds.

Enrolment for three year old programs is handled centrally by MIKA. If your child is due to begin a three year old program in 2010, please download the enrolment form below.
