Complaints received regarding Charity Bins - graffiti, rubbish etc. should be referred to Local Laws - 1300 88 22 33.
Clothing Bin Permit/Guidelines
The Bins must be :- Emptied regularly
- Kept free from Graffiti
- Painted annually or as required
- Have the organisation name and contact phone number clearly visible
- Be covered by a public liability policy [Minimum $5 m]
Where rubbish is around a bin and the organisation has been notified, the rubbish must be removed within twenty four hours.
Note: No new permit sites are available.
