Tony and his wife Janet have lived in Croydon for over 14 years and have five children and twelve grandchildren. He runs a busy restaurant and has a keen interest in local sports, especially football and cricket. Tony served as a Councillor for Maroondah City Council in the Eastfield Ward from 2005 to 2008 and was Mayor in 2007-2008. He also served as a Councillor for the City of Broadmeadows in the 1980s prior to making his home in Croydon.
Tony represents Council on the Arrabri Community Centre Special Committee and the Melbourne Valley of the Arts Marketing Board.

This is Paul’s first term as a Maroondah Councillor however he has experience in the role from when he served on the former Croydon Council. Paul has an active involvement with many local community groups and takes a particular interest in the South Croydon Football Club. He is a qualified plumber and, with his wife Kathy, has lived in Maroondah for 45 years. They have two adult sons, one of whom is also a Maroondah Councillor.
Paul is representing Council on the Community Safety Reference Group and the Eastern Regional Libraries Corporation.

Natalie has long-standing ties with Maroondah as she grew up in Heathmont and now lives there with her teenage son. With a business background, Natalie has run her own web development business and has had professional associations with Maroondah HomeBiz and the Croydon and Ringwood Chambers of Commerce and is employed with a local business. She enjoys getting involved with the families of Maroondah which is reflected in her active involvement in a number of sporting, church and community groups.
Natalie represents Council on the Eastern Regional Libraries Corporation and for the Maroondah Tourism and Heritage Advisory Board.

Ann is a familiar local identity. A resident of Maroondah for over 30 years, she has a keen interest in road safety and has a long involvement with Red Cross as a coordinator. She is also active in her local church fellowship, little athletics and netball. Ann is married to Colin and has four adult children. This is Ann’s first term as a Maroondah Councillor, and she has served as a Councillor with the former City of Ringwood.
Ann represents Council on the Disability Advisory Committee, Maroondah Community Wellbeing Committee and Roadsafe-Melbourne Eastern Ranges Inc.

Nora has life long ties to the Maroondah community having grown up locally and attended Aquinas College in Ringwood. Nora has over 18 years experience in government and holds a Bachelors Degree in Political Science, a Masters Degree in Public Administration and a graduate certificate in Migration Law and Practice. Nora worked for several years in the United States in both state and federal governments and currently owns and operates a migration law practice in Heathmont.
Nora represents Council on the Disability Advisory Committee and also the Maroondah Tourism and Heritage Advisory Board.

Alex has lived in Ringwood for more than 20 years and has a background in marketing and IT. Alex is known for his advocacy in regard to public transport improvements and community planning. Alex has a keen interest in youth, theatre and the arts and is a champion of sustainability, accessibility and environmental issues.
Alex is a member of the North Ringwood Community House, Ringwood Rotary, Croydon Conservation Society, Eastern Volunteers and the Maroondah Citizens Advice Bureau.
Alex’s Council representation includes the Audit Advisory Committee, Maroondah Community Wellbeing Committee, the Municipal Association of Victoria and the Victorian Local Government Association.

As Maroondah’s youngest Councillor Michael is particularly interested in youth affairs and youth welfare. He is an apprentice electrician who attended local primary and secondary schools. A sports enthusiast particularly keen on football, he played for both Heathmont and South Croydon Football Clubs. Michael is also interested in music – he was a member of the National Boys Choir and now sings in the men’s choir. He lives in Maroondah with his parents and brother and joins his father as a first term elected Councillor.
Michael represents Council on the Eastern Transport Coalition and the EMR Affordable Housing Alliance.

Rob has lived in Maroondah for 20 years. He and his wife Linda have two young children. He is active in the community, has served on his local school council and his interests include community safety and sustainable development. Rob runs his own business and has been a recipient of a Maroondah Business Award. He enjoys boating, trail bike riding and sports with his family.
Rob serves as a Council representative on the Audit Advisory Committee and the Community Safety Reference Group.

With his wife Lorna and their children, Les has lived in the Maroondah area for over 40 years and works in the construction industry. He served as a Councillor with the former Croydon Council for over nine years, four of which he served as Mayor. He was elected to Maroondah City Council in 1997 and was the first Mayor of Maroondah. He has served three terms as Mayor. His service to local government has been formally recognised with a Municipal Association of Victoria award for service.
Les represents Council on the Metropolitan Waste Management Group.
